Blencoe: Volunteers are needed to help sandbag Wednesday in Blencoe. Take I-29 to the Blencoe exit, then into town to the county shed.
Wynstone: Volunteers needed to help build sandbag walls in low lying areas of Wynstone Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m. Call Kelli Fernando with any questions: 712-490-7580.
South Sioux City - Empty sandbags are available at the SSC City Hall and Public Works building. Sand can be delivered to those in affected inundation areas according to the Corps. of Engineers maps. Further questions can be directed to the EOC at 402-494-7570.
Sioux City: Volunteers are needed to help fill sandbags at the Long Lines Family Center Tuesday, June 7, and each morning this week from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. These sandbags are being distributed throughout the region, including Brown's Lake and S. Sioux City.
Brown's Lake - Volunteers needed from 9 a.m. to noon through Friday, June 10.
