ROCK VALLEY, Iowa | Police are asking the public's help finding a driver who crashed through a Rock Valley, Iowa, corn field.

The crash happened on Elmwood Avenue about two and one-half miles south of Rock Valley on Saturday.

The northbound vehicle went off the road, through the ditch and into a corn field.

The vehicle drove over 150 feet of corn and then damaged a fence in order to get out of the field, according to a Sioux County Sheriff's Office statement.

Deputies say the vehicle will likely have extensive front-end damage.
