SIOUX CITY | A sprawling new Hibachi grill and buffet opened last month in Morningside. Two longtime restaurant/bars also recently added new metro area locations.
Mr. Stirfry, owned by businessman Min Lu, leased 10,000 square feet in the former Jo-Ann Fabric store at Southern Square, next to Hobby Lobby.
Billed as the largest restaurant in the Sioux City area, Mr. Stirfry seats about 325 people. The supreme buffet is 100 feet wide by 120 feet long.
The buffet offers an array of Chinese, Japanese, American, Italian and Mexican items. The grill allows guests to select meats and vegetables and have them cooked in front of them by a professional hibachi chef.
Mr. Stirfry is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 pm. Friday and Saturday
Arlene Curry of NAI LeGrand & Co. brokered the deal that brought Mr. Stirfry to Southern Square.
