POLICE DEPT. CLOSES PADDY'S DAY: "The saloons will be closed in Sioux City on St. Patrick's day." Like a sudden downpour of icy water the announcement of Desk Sergeant George Peirce came upon half a dozen bluecoats assembled at the police station this morning. The patrolmen are to see that all saloons remain closed on March 17. St. Patrick's day comes on Sunday.
