SIOUX CITY — Sioux City-based M Plus Architects Inc., an architectural design firm, announced it was awarded 10 U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) projects in affiliation with Health Facilities Group Architecture of Wichita, Kansas.

The projects include five VA projects in Kansas, three VA projects in Missouri and two DOD projects at Travis and Beale Air Force Bases in California.

M Plus is one of only two architectural design firms in Iowa verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with the federal government. The SDVOSB Concern Program provides agencies with the authority to set acquisitions aside for exclusive competition among service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, as well as the authority to make sole source awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns if certain conditions are met.
