PRIMGHAR, Iowa -- O’Brien County Abstract LLC is a new addition to the north side of the courthouse square in Primghar.

Owners Barry Sackett and Ruby and Bill Nitzel initially opened their new business earlier this year by renting office space in Primghar City Hall for several months.

O’Brien County Abstract has now moved into a newly remodeled building at 150 First St. NE thanks to the support of the O’Brien County Economic Development Corp.

The corporation supported this new business through an O’Brien County Intermediary Relending Program Revolving Fund Loan.

Additionally, and in conjunction with the O’Brien County Revolving Loan Fund Committee, a revolving loan fund loan was approved for the business. Revolving loan funds are used to attract, retain or expand business or industry. RLFs may be used for the following: land purchases, building purchases, building construction, machinery purchases, equipment purchases and any other uses deemed appropriate by the RLF committee.
