SIOUX CITY – Pam Mickelson, professor and chair of business administration at Morningside College, recently helped plan the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) Global Conference and Pitch Competition in Tampa, Florida.
Mickelson served on the planning committee for the global conference, and she was a chair of the chapter development sessions.
Eight students attended the conference with her, and one was a finalist in the Global Pitch Competition.
CEO was founded in 1997 as an organization for college and university students who want to one day become entrepreneurs. Today, CEO has over 250 chapters globally. It holds four regional conferences and one global conference annually. CEO’s mission is to inform, support and inspire college students to be entrepreneurial and seek opportunity through enterprise creation.
