WINNEBAGO, Neb. -- A new team will manage marketing and communications for Ho-Chunk Inc. and its growing subsidiaries.
The economic development corporation for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska has hired Sam Burrish as communications manager and Benjamin Preston as marketing manager.
Burrish, a former journalist, will manage corporate public relations, employee and local communications programs. Preston, a business development expert, will manage marketing, including the subsidiary companies’ products and services.
Prior to joining Ho-Chunk, Inc., Burrish, a Sioux Falls native, managed marketing and business development for Sioux City Ford Lincoln. He produced multimedia news at the Sioux City Journal and Sioux Falls Argus Leader newspapers. His role at Ho-Chunk includes handling all media inquiries.
Preston, from Omaha, worked in New York City for the past four years managing marketing and business development for several high-growth companies in various industries.
