There are several rock art sites around the Midwest that offer insight into the cultures of prehistoric Native Americans. One, called Jeffers Petroglyphs is located in southwest Minnesota. Archaeologist Charles Broste will be speaking about the rock art carvings that range from bison, to ancient maps, to handprints on the rock. Free and open to the public.
