Morningside College is offering students and families free assistance to complete the 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The result of this application is used to determine a student’s financial aid that may be available from the federal government, state government, colleges, universities, and occasionally from private organizations. The assistance events are in Weikert Auditorium on the second floor of Buhler Rohlfs Halls on the Morningside campus.

To complete the FAFSA, families should bring, for both the student and parent, the following:

  • Social Security number, driver’s license number and date of birth
  • 2016 federal and state tax returns
  • W-2 forms or other records of income earned last year
  • Current bank statements and investment records
  • Records of untaxed income received during 2016
  • 2016 business and farm records
