Sioux City has been wanting for rain for a few weeks now. As of Monday, Sioux City had received only 0.20 of an inch of rain for the month, putting the city on pace to have one of its driest Julys in recorded history. According to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, these are Sioux City's driest Julys on record:

2. 0.36 of an inch, 2006

3. Tie: 0.41 of an inch, 1947 and 1985

5. 0.50 of an inch, 1980
