Professor Don Hickey, of Wayne State College, addressed popular myths surrounding the midnight ride of Paul Revere as the Revolutionary War began near Boston, Massachusetts, in April 1775.

Hickey presented his remarks at a gathering on Sunday at the Betty Strong Encounter Center in Sioux City, where Hickey has been a frequent presenter of programs focusing on the nation's history. More than 100 were present for his discussion.
