MOVILLE, Iowa | The Woodbury Central High School marching band, under the direction of Tiffany Wurth, presented a halftime show on Friday night that showcased music for members of the military and their families.

Players from the Wildcats' opponent, Lawton-Bronson, stood to watch the band wrap up the program in its playing of "God Bless America."

Several varsity football players, young men often receiving football instruction at halftime, remained on the field this evening to play their instruments while marching, adding some numbers and volume to the homecoming show.

The band received a standing ovation at the conclusion of its 3-song set.
