SIOUX CITY | "Frederick: The Life and Legacy of Frederick Douglass," a one-man show performed by Dr. Robin Duncan, will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Betty Strong Encounter Center. Admission will be free; a reception will follow.

The presentation will tell the story of abolitionist Frederick Douglass, who escaped from slavery at age 20 and went on to become an internationally renowned anti-racism activist, orator, newspaper editor and writer.

Duncan’s presentation is designed to educate, stimulate, motivate and inform the audience of the struggles faced in Douglass’s time and yet today.
