VERMILLION, S.D. -- The Vermillion Cultural Programming Committee, the programming arm of the Vermillion Downtown Cultural Association, has announced a burlesque event coming to downtown Vermillion.
On March 3, the committee will welcome prodigal daughter, Heather Wilson – also known as Foxy Tann, The Boss of Burlesque. "Burlesque for the Big Screen" features internationally known, South Dakota-grown burlesque and drag artists coming home for a naughty night out for a goody-good cause.
This event benefits the VDCA’s programming committee to keep bringing fantastic programming to Vermillion, and to kick-start the use of the Vermillion Theater for innovative cultural programming.
Tickets for the event will be $20, general admission. Additionally, $40 VIP tickets will ensure premium seating, admittance to a VIP-only reception, a gift bag, and photo opportunities.
VIP seating will be extremely limited, so reservations are required. Those interested should call Jessi Wilharm at 605-670-8869.
The audience is encouraged to arrive in fancy dress. Doors will open at 9 p.m., with the show kicking off at 10 p.m. General admission tickets will be available at the door, but advance tickets can be purchased by visiting www.vermilliontheaters.com, and clicking on the "Buy Tickets" link at the top of the page.
The downtown Vermillion Theater is at 4 W. Main St.
