WAYNE, Neb. | The Wayne State College music department has announced three upcoming events to cultivate the musical talents of junior high and high school students.

Festival of Honor Bands is set for 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 27, in Ramsey Theatre. 

The Honor Choir Festival is 4 p.m. Feb. 2, in Rice Auditorium. 

Piano Day begins at 9 a.m. Feb. 16., with a 1 p.m. concert in Ramsey Theatre. 

Students age 11 to 18 are welcome to participate at no cost. The registration deadline for Piano Day is Feb. 12. 

Adult admission to the Festival of Honor Bands and Honor Choir Festival is $5 each, and Piano Day is free. Students can attend these events for free.
