LENNOX, S.D. -- Dakota Valley's defense held Lennox to 59 total yards in a 54-21 Class 11A football victory on Friday night.

The second-ranked Panthers, remaining unbeaten at 8-0, limited Lennox to two yards rushing on 14 attempts.

Dakota Valley, meanwhile, rolled up 399 rushing yards as Austin Carter and Eric Johnson each topped 100 yards in the contest.

Carter finished with 121 and two touchdowns while Johnson added 110 yards and two scores and quarterback Zack Poulsen also rushed for a pair of TD's in the Panthers big win.

Poulsen's lone pass completion went for a touchdown, as did Nathan Rice's as Jevin Kratz caught both touchdown passes.

Brennan Moran, Travis Ohl and Carter each supplied five total tackles in the win and Kratz added a sack.

Dakota Valley faces fourth-ranked Tea Area in the regular season finale.
