SIOUX CITY -- North junior Nick Opsahl fired a 1-over par round of 73 to claim medalist honors in a five-team boys golf meet Monday at Whispering Creek.

Heelan won the team title, its second of the early season, with a 329 total score while East was second with 353 and North third 360.

Opsahl, who was the first flight champion at the City Tournament over the weekend, shot a 1-under par 35 on the front nine and a two-over par 38 on the back.

Heelan sophomore Jackson Thompson led the team champs with a six-over par 78. Jackson Sitzmann and John Koch shot 83's while Trent Brazzell had an 85 for the winners.

Jack Peterson shot 83 to led runner-up East while Connor James 98 paced West.
