FORT DODGE, Iowa | Host Fort Dodge got six titles and claimed the team honors at the Don Miller Invitational wrestling meet held Saturday.
The Dodgers were led by undefeated prep senior Brody Teske who won the 126-pound class with a 17-2 technical fall triumph over Levi Aldous of Emmetsburg. The Penn State signee improved to 17-0 on the season and 152-0 for his career.
East was eight in the team race and had a runner-up finish from Steven Huscher at 195 pounds. Huschre lost in the finals of the class to Jaise Gulling of Newton by a 22-10 major decision.
Woodbury Central took fifth place in the team race with 106-pounder Beau Klingensmith posting a runner-up effort. Drake Ayala nipped Klingensmith 10-8 in the final match to move to 17- on the season. Klingensmith dropped to 17-2.
Spirit Lake Park was sixth in the team standings and got a title from Dakoda Poweel who won at 220 pounds with a fall over Gage Linahon of Newtow in the final.
Jorge Sandoval of Storm Lake lost a final match to Cooper Lawson of Wesbter City by fall in 3:35. Lawson is now 16-0 while Sandoval is 13-2.
