OMAHA -- Taryn Christensen produced her first career 20-plus scoring outing Saturday as sixth-ranked (B) South Sioux City posted a 74-41 River Cities Conference win over Roncalli.
Christensen, a 5-9 junior, averaging 9.9 points per game reached double figures for the eighth time this season with her 21 points outing. She had only two previous double figure outings in her first two varsity seasons.
The Cardinals, winners of seven straight, had three others reach double figures in the win as Marybeth Rasmussen scored 13 points, McKenna Sims 11 and Tiffany Tinker 10. Sims added five rebounds, 10 assists and eight steals as South Sioux City moved to 15-4.
Halle Meister led Roncalli (7-13) with 10 points.
