Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center
“Lewis & Clark and the Pilgrims” at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18th.
Join us Saturday, November 18th at 1:00 p.m. to learn the story behind the Pilgrims’ “first” Thanksgiving and if, 200 years later, Captains Lewis & Clark celebrated the holiday during their winter stay at Fort Mandan. Learn how both Lewis & Clark and the Pilgrims depended on the local tribes to survive and how they shared in the local celebrations. Both had much to be thankful for. Following the program, kids are invited to take part in a Thanksgiving craft and treats.
Admission and materials will be free.
Located along Sioux City’s Riverfront at 900 Larsen Park Rd.
