WAYNE, Neb. -- A bit of ballet, a noble dance suite and a composition highlighting all orchestral sections will punctuate the Wayne State College Orchestra Concert in Ramsey Theatre located in the Peterson Fine Arts Center at 5 p.m. Nov. 19.
The concert features compositions by Paul W. Whear, G. F. Handel, Eric Ewazen, Franz Schubert, Richard Meyer and Camille Saint-Saëns.
The orchestra is composed of WSC students, area high school students and community members from Wayne and beyond who share a passion for orchestral performance. The ensemble is directed by associate professor Dr. Karl Kolbeck.
