Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3204 S. Lakeport, invites the public to its second Advent service on Wednesday. Traditional morning service will be 11:30 a.m. with a chicken strip meal to follow at noon. Children and youth at Peace Reformed Church, 4100 Outer Drive North, in Sioux City will be presenting two Christmas plays during worship on Sunday. Grades preschool through 5th grade will be presenting the play Aaron, the Allergic Shepherd. Students in grades 4-8 will be presenting the play Jesus Means Christmas to Me.
