1 stick butter

1 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons corn syrup

1 loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch slices

cinnamon (desired amount) 

5 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla 

1 1/4 cup milk 

Combine butter, brown sugar and corn syrup in a sauce pan; cook until sugar is dissolved (do not boil). Pour in a butter 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish. Top with bread slices. Pour egg mixture over bread, covering all. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. When done, sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar.
