6 eggs whites

1/2 tsp cream of tartar

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 C. sugar

Heat oven to 400 degrees. beat egg whites as for an angel food cake. Add cream of tartar, salt, and gradually add the sugar. spread in a 9x13 pan greased (only on the bottom) with butter. Set in oven, turn off oven immediately and leave overnight.

2 - 3oz. pkg. cream cheese

1 C. sugar

1/2 pint whipped cream

1 tsp vanilla

1 C. miniature marshmallows

1 to 2 tsp. almond flavoring

1 can cherry pie filling

The next day cream the cream cheese. add sugar, whipped cream and marshmallows. Pour over meringue and refrigerate 8 hours. Mix almond flavoring and cheery pie filling and serve over the bottom layer.
