SIOUX CITY --  When it comes to championship basketball, it's all comes down to the dunk.

The same can be said for competitive cookie-making, where "dunk-ability" is also an important factor.

For the past several years, The Journal has requested favorite cookie recipes from each of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Women's Division II National Championship teams competing at the Tyson Events Center.

Plus we're asking Journal readers to cast their ballots at, to winnow down the submitted recipes.

Next week, Al Clark, executive chef for the Spectra Food Services and Hospitality at the Tyson Events Center will bake the top three vote-getters before choosing the winner in the official NAIA cookie competition taste test.

Will your favorite team reign supreme on both the Tyson Events Center hardwoods as well as inside the facility's test kitchens.

It's in your hand and let the (chocolate) chips fall where they may.
