NORTH SIOUX CITY | Siouxland Urology Center, LLC and Dunes Surgical Hospital have announced in a statement that Siouxland Urology Center has become a hospital outpatient department of the Dunes Surgical Hospital.
With this announcement, the two entities will have integrated services and campuses, which will allow for better continuity of care for patients, according to the statement.
"With this partnership, we will be sharing best practices and using the latest technology to advance the care experience for our patients," said Greg Miner, CEO of Dunes Surgical Hospital.
Siouxland Urology employs five physicians, who are physician partners in the Dunes Surgical Hospital; five physician assistants; and 33 other employees.
Operating in Dakota Dunes, Dunes Surgical Hospital is a 66,000-square-foot facility licensed for 38 beds. It features 15 surgical suites, 20 private rooms, numerous pre-operative and recovery rooms and four procedure rooms.
Surgical specialties include: oral surgery, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, pain management, pediatric dentistry, plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, podiatry, urology, anesthesiology, pathology and radiology.
Dunes Surgical Hospital is a partner with Mercy Medical Center – Sioux City.
