Phillip F. Neri, of Sioux City, will celebrate his 85th birthday with a open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Queen of Peace, Trinity Heights, 33rd and Floyd Blvd. in Sioux City.

Phillip was born on Oct. 4, 1932, in Sioux City. He was married to Anita M. Casper on Sept. 25, 1951, at the U.S. Naval Air Station in Barbers Point, Oahu. Phillip was employed as a typographical printer and did record printing with the Sioux City Journal, and was a partner and account executive with Morningside/Northwest Shoppers and the Shoppers Guide. He was also employed with Johnson/Severeide Printing.

His children include Phillip R. (Diane) Neri, Teresa A. (Krage) Feste, Brenda M. (Joel) Parkhill, Michelle R. Jacobs and Gina A. (David) Bonthuis, all of Sioux City. He has 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
