SIOUX CITY — Iconic comedian Bill Cosby will perform at 7 p.m. March 27 at the Orpheum Theatre.

Tickets range from $42.50 to $59.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 or, on the day of the show, at the Tyson Events Center Box office.

Cosby has won generations of fans with his comedy routines, albums, the groundbreaking, top-rated television series “The Cosby Show” and best-selling books such as “Fatherhood.” He broke TV's racial barrier with a role in “I Spy,” becoming the first black actor to co-star in a series and win three consecutive Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actor.

The veteran comic created and produced the Emmy-winning cartoon “Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids,” which began airing in the 1970s and was made into a film in 2004.

The former Navy serviceman's list of accomplishments also includes roles on the children's educational show “Electric Company” and creating and producing the Emmy-winning “Little Bill,” which is based on his bestselling book series.
