SIOUX CITY | Chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue throughout the day on Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, Sioux City has a 60 percent chance of precipitation Wednesday morning, followed by a 50 percent chance during the afternoon hours and a 40 percent chance overnight.
Thunderstorms are possible, with expected rainfall totaling between a tenth and a quarter of an inch during the day. Locally heavier amounts are possible.
Wednesday's high will be 79 degrees with a south wind at 5 to 10 mph. The low will be 61 degrees.
Conditions are expected to begin clearing overnight, bringing sunny skies Thursday and a high of 79 degrees.
Temperatures will remain in the mid-to-upper 70s throughout the weekend, with the next chance of rain coming Saturday night into Sunday.
