VERMILLION, S.D. | The Biennial Indian Law Symposium is April 2-4 at the University of South Dakota School of Law, 414 E. Clark St.

Events will focus on public safety, protection of women and the recent federal Tribal Law & Order Act.

The symposium begins at 7 p.m. on April 2 with a keynote address by Brendan Johnson, United States attorney for South Dakota. Panel discussions are 9 a.m. and 1:30 April 3 and 9 a.m. on April 4.
