SIOUX CITY | Fifteen Northwest Iowa schools received Bronze Status on the 2014 Best High Schools Report from U.S. News and World Report.

Schools included were:

Boyden-Hull, Central Lyon, Charter Oak-Ute, Clay Central-Everly, George-Little Rock, Harris-Lake Park, Kingsley-Pierson, Maple Valley/Anthon-Oto, Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn, Sioux Center, South O’Brien, Spirit Lake, West Monona, West Sioux and Whiting.

U.S. News analyzed more than 31,200 public high schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The schools were graded on college readiness, math proficiency, reading proficiency and student/teacher ratio.
