SIOUX CITY | After a chilly morning that began with frost and patchy fog, Wednesday is expected to warm up into what may be the warmest day of the week. 

Wednesday's high will be around 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls. Conditions will be clear with an east-southeast wind of 5 to 10 mph becoming south-southwest in the morning.

Clouds will roll in Wednesday evening, with the low dropping to about 22 degrees and winds gusting as high as 30 mph. Thursday's high will be much cooler, around 31 degrees. 

Thursday night's low will be 15 degrees. Temperatures will warm to about 36 on Friday, and conditions will be mostly cloudy and breezy, with a south-southeast wind of 10 to 20 mph gusting as high as 30 mph.

Conditions will warm up over the weekend, with highs of 48 and 43 expected Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-to-low 50s on Monday and Tuesday.
