SIOUX RAPIDS, Iowa | A Sioux Rapids man has been arrested on a felony charge of willful injury after he stabbed a Spencer, Iowa, resident, police said. 

Pedro Orozco, 43, of Sioux Rapids, was arrested by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

Police on Thursday said he stabbed a 19-year-old. The Clay County Sheriff's Office in a statement said they found the victim when they were responding to a car collision south of Spencer Wednesday evening. 

The victim had multiple stab wounds, police said. The incident touched off a search, with several agencies responding, police said. 

Officials are not releasing information about how Orozco, the victim and the car collision are linked. 

The victim was taken to Spencer Hospital and a Sioux Falls hospital. His condition was not immediately known Thursday.
