STORM LAKE, Iowa | Eighteen people have been arrested as part of a series investigations into drug sales in Storm Lake.
Arrests were made Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Details were released Monday.
Arrested on felony charges were:
-- Kevin Yang, 20, and Doun Yang, 22, of Storm Lake, for felony possession with intent to deliver marijuana and felony failure to affix a drug tax stamp.
-- Raul Martinez-Lozano, 35, of Storm Lake, for three felony counts of delivery of cocaine and felony ongoing criminal conduct.
-- Macdonald Hoskins, 31, of Storm Lake, for felony counts of possession of heroin – third offense and possession of methadone, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
-- Heidi Sippel, 38, of Galva, Iowa, for felony counts of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of pseudoephedrine.
-- Bryan Brock, 32, of Schaller, Iowa; Mindy Baughman, 28, and Taylor Maschino, 32, of Fort Dodge, Iowa; Shane Schimmer, 39, of Ida Grove, Iowa; Dennis Franzmeier, 54, of Newell, Iowa; and Casey Beckman, 35, Odebolt, Iowa, for felony counts of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of pseudoephedrine.
-- Adam Taylor, 26, of Schaller, Iowa, for felony conspiracy to deliver psilocybin mushrooms.
-- Amber Apolito, 23, of Alta, Iowa, for felony delivery of psilocybin mushrooms.
-- Stephen Campbell, 40, of Odebolt, Iowa, for felony conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine.
Three others, Albernard Clinton Jr., 20, Josue Garcia, 21, and Edward Fowler, 31, all of Storm Lake, were arrested on misdemeanor charges, and Bouasone Sihachak, 35, of Storm Lake, was arrested for a probation violation.
Police seized 2.25 pounds of marijuana packaged for street sales, cash, drug paraphernalia and a vehicle believed to be used in the transportation of drugs, officials said.
