ELK POINT, S.D. | A Dakota Dunes man pleaded not guilty Monday to drug charges.
Roger Miller, 68, entered his plea in Union County Circuit Court to two counts of possession of a controlled substance and single counts of delivery of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia. His trial was set for Feb. 20.
Miller was arrested on Aug. 22 after authorities responded to a report that a man had been shot and drugs were involved at a home in the 200 block of La Costa Lane in Dakota Dunes.
According to court documents, police did not find any shooting victims, but observed glass pipes and a white crystal substance that appeared to be methamphetamine on the kitchen table and counter.
