LE MARS, Iowa -- Le Mars High School in Le Mars, Iowa, has been placed in a lockdown, a school official confirmed.
Law enforcement officials said there was a report of an active shooter in the area.
The Le Mars Police Department and Plymouth County Sheriff's Office is on the scene at the school, located at 921 Third Ave. SW.
