OMAHA -- A Macy, Nebraska, woman pleaded guilty earlier this month to stabbing another woman.
Curtina Morris, 49, entered her plea April 5 in U.S. District Court in Omaha to one count of assault by striking, beating or wounding in Indian country. Sentencing was set for July 11. She faces a maximum sentence of one year prison.
According to court documents, Morris stabbed the other woman in the abdomen with a paring knife on March 14, 2017. The victim underwent surgery for the wound, court documents said.
