STORM LAKE, Iowa | A Storm Lake man faces multiple felony sexual charges after he sexually assaulted his wife and forced her to terminate her pregnancies, police said.
Tony Lee, 54, is charged with five felony counts of non-consensual termination of pregnancy, two felony counts of second-degree sexual abuse, and one count of misdemeanor aggravated sexual assault.
Between October 2012 and April 2014, Lee forced his wife to take pills on five occasions that resulted in the termination of two pregnancies, Storm Lake police said in a statement.
Lee also sexually assaulted his wife two times in March and April 2014 while threatening her with a machete, police said. In February, he also threatened her while holding the machete against her neck, police said.
The incidents occurred at the couple’s home in the 700 block of Grand Avenue, police said.
Lee was arrested Monday and booked into the Buena Vista County Jail, where he is held on a $25,000 bond.
