PRIMGHAR, Iowa | A Primghar man has pleaded not guilty to hitting another man in the head with an automobile exhaust pipe.
Jesse Christopherson, 21, entered his written plea Thursday in O'Brien County District Court to single counts of first-degree burglary and assault causing bodily injury.
According to court documents, Christopherson entered a home in the 200 block of West Third Street in Calumet, Iowa, on Nov. 9 carrying a muffler and exhaust pipe. He is accused of striking the victim in the head with the exhaust pipe and causing a large gash on his forehead.
Two other men, Walker Buck, 19, and Austin Eads, 22, both of Primghar, were arrested on assault charges for participating in the incident. They have yet to be formally charged.
