STORM LAKE, Iowa | Police say a Royal, Iowa, woman posed as a nurse to get prescription drugs that she resold. 

Kayleen Leedahl, 28, was charged with 14 felony counts of failure to affix a drug tax stamp, five counts of possession with intent to deliver a schedule III drug and prohibited acts, and one count of ongoing criminal conduct.

She also faces 13 misdemeanor charges related to selling and having prescription drugs.

Storm Lake police say Leedahl posed as a nurse and used a doctor's information to get 18 illegal prescriptions from the Storm Lake Walmart pharmacy from July 11 to Nov. 13.

She's accused of buying Norco three times, Ambien four times and Valium five times. Police say she also got Levaquin, Zofran and Lortab twice.

Leedahl was arrested Wednesday at the Carroll County Jail, where she was being held on charges of theft of lottery tickets and a probation violation.

Her bail for the Buena Vista County charges is $50,000.
