PRIMGHAR, Iowa -- A Sanborn, Iowa, man has been arrested and charged with a series of burglaries in rural O'Brien County.
O'Brien County Sheriff's deputies arrested Travis Tifft, 36, Friday at a Little Rock, Iowa, hog confinement facility on four counts of third-degree burglary.
Earlier in the day, deputies executed a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of O'Brien Street in Sanborn and recovered stolen farm equipment and tools. After Tifft's arrest, deputies found stolen property in his pickup truck, according to a news release from the O'Brien County Sheriff's Office.
Court documents showed that the burglaries occurred Dec. 1 at a rural O'Brien County hog barn and three times from Jan. 6-17 at the same address in rural Sanborn.
