ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa | A sexual abuse case against a Rock Rapids man has been dismissed.

District Judge Carl Petersen on Friday dismissed a single count of third-degree sexual abuse against Trysten Robinson, 20, a day after Lyon County Attorney Shayne Mayer had filed a motion to dismiss the case because there was insufficient evidence to convict Robinson.

Police arrested Robinson, wh  o was 19 at the time, in May. He was accused of having sexual contact with a then-14-year-old girl at a party in December.
