SIOUX CITY | A Sioux City resident accused of robbing a man at gunpoint will be tried in Algona, Iowa, officials said.

Levon Dean, 24, is charged with felony first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, second-degree theft and assault while participating in a felony. He's accused of robbing a man at gunpoint in the 4300 block of Polk Street in Sioux City April 24.

His trial is being moved because of media coverage of his brother, Jamal Dean, who admitted to shooting a Sioux City police officer in the head April 29.

Levon Dean was not involved in the shooting.

A judge declared a mistrial in Levon Dean's first trial on the charges because of media coverage during jury selection on July 24.

Levon Dean's trial is Sept. 9. He has pleaded not guilty.
