SIOUX CITY | A Sioux City teen has been arrested for a string of felony burglary and thefts from Sioux City businesses.

DreShawn Amari Stewart, 15, was arrested on multiple counts of third-degree burglary, second-degree theft and third-degree attempted burglary.

Court documents filed Monday said Stewart and other juveniles broke into the Sprint store, at 4115 Gordon Drive, and stole iPhones worth more than $1,000, broke into Urban Casual, at 3241 Gordon Drive, and stole several items worth more than $1,000, and broke into Younkers, at 4380 Sergeant Road, and stole items worth more than $1,000.

Stewart allegedly also attempted to break into the AT&T store, at 2935 Hamilton Blvd, with an axe, where damage to the store was more than $1,000. Police said those incidents occurred on Sept. 30, Oct. 17 and Oct. 19.
