STORM LAKE, Iowa -- A man who had been sought by police for months was taken into custody during a traffic stop on the 200 block of East Railroad Street at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Storm Lake Police arrested Christian Quintero, 28, charging him with warrants on delivery of a controlled substance (class C felony); probation violation for possession of a firearm by a felon, four counts of criminal trespass, criminal mischief in the fifth degree, and interference with official acts (all simple misdemeanors).
Quintero was wanted on multiple charges by Storm Lake Police, and had been sought for several months in connection into the alleged sale of illegal drugs in Storm Lake.
Quintero was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail and held without bail. The Storm Lake Police Department was assisted by the Buena Vista County Sheriff's Department in this investigation.
