SPIRIT LAKE, Iowa -- Two men were arrested on numerous felony and misdemeanor charges Wednesday in Spirit Lake, stemming from their reported involvement in an armed robbery.
According to a press release from the Storm Lake Police Department, officers responded to an armed robbery at 1502 Memphis Ave. Lot #1 in Spirit Lake at 12:09 a.m. Wednesday. While they were responding, officers noticed a 2015 Mercedes-Benz matching the description of a vehicle involved in the robbery.
The vehicle was stopped, and after investigation, 19-year-old Brandon Bebon, of Sheldon, Iowa, and 26-year-old Samuel Stoller, of Spirit Lake, were arrested in connection with the robbery.
They were booked into the Dickinson County Jail on charges of first degree burglary and robbery (both class B felonies), going armed with intent (a class D felony), possession of methamphetamine (a serious misdemeanor), possession of marijuana (a serious misdemeanor), fourth degree theft (a serious misdemeanor) and possession of drug paraphernalia (a simple misdemeanor).
