Stabbing

Authorities swarmed the Follis Apartment building in downtown Sioux City this morning after a reported stabbing. One man appeared to be arrested at the scene.

Update: Police said the suspect of a reported burglary had a minor cut on his hand and the victim did not wish to press charges. 


 SIOUX CITY -- At least one man was arrested on the scene after an alleged stabbing took place Friday morning at the Follis Apartments in downtown Sioux City.

The building is located at 923 Douglas Ave. -- just blocks north of the Sioux City Police Department --  and two assaults were reported near that vicinity shortly before 9 a.m., according to department's activity log.

An ambulance and fire truck were both on scene and at least eight marked police vehicles. 

No additional information is known at this time.
