SIOUX CITY | One of three people accused of using counterfeit cash at Sioux City's Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has pleaded not guilty.

Jackelen Hartsock, 27, of Le Mars, Iowa, entered her written plea Wednesday in Woodbury County District Court to one count of forgery.

Hartsock was arrested last month after an investigation showed that she and Kurt Jones and Brittany Derby had made several cash transactions at the casino on Aug. 5. The bills were later found to be counterfeit.

Jones, 26, and Derby, 29, both of Le Mars, both are charged with forgery and have yet to be arraigned.
