South Sioux City High School homecoming 2017

The 2017 South Sioux City High School homecoming King and Queen announced at Thursday’s Coronation are Zoe Cigard, daughter of Ange Moret and Robert Cigard, and Israel Miranda, son of Jose and Maria Miranda.

SOUTH SIOUX CITY | South Sioux City High School is celebrating homecoming through Saturday, with the theme of "Disco Nights" for 2017.

The homecoming coronation took place Thursday. The homecoming queen was Zoe Cigard, daughter of Ange Moret and Robert Cigard, and the king was Israel Miranda, son of Jose and Maria Miranda.

The parade will be held at 4 p.m. Friday.

The homecoming football game is at 7 p.m. Friday, when the Cardinals play Omaha Gross.

The homecoming dance will take place from 8-11 p.m. Saturday.

The candidates for Homecoming Queen were: Yvette Aldana, Mychyl Brown, Rose Carson, Aimee Garza, Kayla Harris, Angie Lopez, Valeria Loza, Sophie Swanson and Hilary Valdovinos Magana.

The candidates for Homecoming King were: Lencho Abdurahman, Nathan Canoles, Quinn Feenstra, Galdino Guzman-Navarro, Dylan Hallstrom, Broc Heineman, Dominick Lopez, Miguel Mar and Benjamin Plascencia Renteria.
